The right candidate will be experienced in working with aluminium and mild steel and proficient in fabricating and TIG welding in a workshop. Working to drawings and under their own initiative. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 1) To produce products efficiently in stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel (Within 0.9 – 4mm thickness range), 2) generate detailed cut lists for the m/c shop, 3) Mark out and notch components for bending, drilling or rolling, 4) To ensure compliance to drawings and /or appropriate documentation/specifications, 5) Ability to use a wide range of hand tooling – air drills, hand grinders, hand cutting equipment, 8) To work to the Business Units quality procedures, 9) To work within H & S requirements, 10) To work as part of a team, 11) To maintain a clean and tidy working environment at all times.
